Leesa Vlahos
Leesa Anne Vlahos, ''née'' Chesser〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Leesa Vlahos MP on Twitter )〕 (born 1966) is an Australian politician elected to the seat of Taylor as the Labor Party candidate in the South Australian House of Assembly at the 2010 election, after the retirement of the previous Labor Party incumbent Trish White.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Home - Electoral Commission SA )〕 She was re-elected at the 2014 election. She is originally from Queensland, where she studied Health Administration at the Queensland University of Technology. She then worked in public and private hospitals in Brisbane and later the Repatriation Hospital in Daw Park, Adelaide. Vlahos holds office as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier and assists in the portfolio areas of Defence Industries, Veterans’ Affairs, Health, Mental Health and Substance Abuse and The Arts. Vlahos was the founding director of SA Progressive Business Inc. which acts as the corporate events arm of the ALP and links the political party with the business community.

She is a former Presiding Officer of the SA Parliament Public Works Committee, a member of the Aboriginal Lands Parliamentary Standing Committee, and a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Occupational Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation. She is also a member of the Economic and Finance Committee.
